Privacy
We collect as little as we can, and we tell you why. This website uses no tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
What we collect
We collect what you enter in our forms: your name, email address and, where a form asks for them, your phone number, street address, postal code and message. We also record when you gave consent.
Why we collect it
We use it to respond to you, connect you with a local chapter, deliver a lawn sign, contact you about the party’s work and, once we are registered, meet our obligations under BC election law. We never sell it.
Tools that handle your information
- Hosting and database: Vercel hosts this website, and Neon stores form submissions on servers in Oregon, United States. That means your information is stored outside Canada and may be subject to US law. We intend to move it to Canada as the party grows.
- Ask AI: your question goes through Vercel AI Gateway to an AI provider, which generates the answer. We do not save your question, but please leave out personal information.
- Find your district: your postal code is sent to Open North’s Represent service for the lookup. We do not save it.
We do not put your data in AI models
We use AI to help make decisions, but we do not put your name, contact details or message into any AI model without asking you first.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@aipartyofbc.ca. Some records may need to be kept where election law requires it.
Security and questions
We protect your information with encrypted connections and limited access. If you have a concern, email us. You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
