The AI Party of BC in Victoria

Victoria is home to the Legislature and much of the provincial public service. A plan to change how government works will be felt here first.

What matters here

Our platform would give public servants safe, BC-hosted AI tools, along with training, so they can spend less time on repetitive work. People would see a public clock on every provincial service, and could always ask for a human review.

Victoria is also a tech cluster in its own right. Trade and Invest BC names it alongside Vancouver and Kelowna, and VIATEC, the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre, serves the region’s tech sector. The University of Victoria and Camosun College supply local talent.

We would be asking public servants to work differently, so they should have a voice in how it happens. That is why the platform pairs AI adoption with training and a Worker Transition Fund.

Three priorities for Victoria

Running for city hall in Victoria

The next general local elections are on October 19, 2030, About 1,450 days away. We have no chapter or candidate in Victoria yet. To endorse a mayoral candidate here, we would need a registered elector organization with at least 50 members in this community.
